Dr. Liching Han, Therapeutic Optometrist
Dr. Han is a Texas Optometry Board licensed therapeutic optometrist, with an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist Designation. Dr. Han received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston-College of Optometry and her Master of Science degree from the University of Missouri. Dr. Han practices full-scope primary optometric eye care including eye exams, glasses, contact lens. Dr. Han’s area of special interest include OrthoK (corneal molding/reshaping : non-surgical vision correction), sports vision, computer vision problem, and ocular disease. Dr. Han lives with her husband Owin and three children in Grand Lakes, Katy since 2007. It was her twin sons Rick and Jack’s need for eyeglasses at very young ages that sparked her passion to investigate and address the growing number of children requiring eyeglasses. She is also very much attuned to the higher incidence of nearsightedness (myopia) in patients who share her Asian heritage. She is a specialist in the use of corneal reshaping contact lenses, which are used to slow down or prevent deterioration in the eyesight of children and young adults. Dr. Han is a passionate doctor who cares deeply about the children she examines and treats.
